15 Minutes Silent Self Review Great Depression Test Read Chapter 16-2 and 16-3. Write a three paragraph constrast of life as portrayed in the two sections. HW: Complete paragraphs. Daily Question: The New Deal programs can be classified as being either focused on Relief, Recovery, or Reform. These are sometimes called the Three Rs of the New Deal. Relief programs provided immediate attention to a specific problem or group of affected people in the form of money or other assistance. Recovery programs focused on building the economy and getting the country working again. Reform programs were designed to eradicate specific causes of the Depression and prevent those problems from resurfacing. Many of the Reforms are still part of our society. DQ: Organize the various New Deal programs (from your journal) into either Relief, Recovery, or Reform initiatives based on what they achieved or attempted to achieve. Share Hobo Song? Test Review Guide - See attached, E.C. Opportunity: Watch America the Story of Us this Sunday on the History channel at 9PM. Record 7 facts that you learned about the Depression from the film. Do not list facts you knew from other places, but only NEW information. Then WRITE a 1 PARAGRAPH (4-6 sentences) critical review of the show from your perspective. HW: Study for Monday's Test.
